Guiding others towards authentic living.
Authentic Living involves alignment, accountability, and authenticity through intentional awareness and action. Alignment is the courageous act of choosing a path that’s the right fit for you. Accountability is maintaining responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors on said path. Authenticity is arriving to each destination as your true self. Authentic Living requires awareness and action from you to be an active participant in your success throughout this journey. Every service I offer encourages you to live as your true self without an apology, an explanation or any feelings of guilt.
However, when you are taught early to put yourself on the back burner, choosing to live authentically is difficult, risky and easier said than done. I understand the resistance from others, discomfort with growth and uncertainty of the unknown that can occur from self prioritization. Letting go of destructive patterns that left you in the trenches is painful but necessary for your growth, healing and freedom. Allow me to show you how to live as your true self without an apology, an explanation or any feelings of guilt. You can do this, let's get started!

Sessions are 60 minutes and typically held weekly or biweekly, depending on your symptoms, goals and availability. We will discuss a schedule that supports your growth without causing overwhelm.
-
No, I do not prescribe, adjust or discontinue medication.
-
Bring any questions, concerns and goals you have for our work together.
-
That is completely OK. Therapy works best when there is a good match. If another level or type of care is appropriate, we will discuss that openly
-
Starting therapy should feel clear, supportive and pressure free. In our intake session, we will review informed consent and confidentiality, explore the roles and responsibilities between Client and Therapist, gather background information, and answer any questions you may have. If we agree to move forward with a therapeutic relationship, we will schedule future sessions.
During our first therapy session, we will identify the problems that led you to therapy, create therapy goals to work on and list specific changes you want to see from your progress. It is important to discuss your therapeutic journey in advance so as it unfolds, you can recognize your efforts toward successful outcomes.
Each session thereafter will give us opportunities to identify problems, break down goals into small action steps, and monitor progress. This can look like discussing emotions, accepting lived experiences, practicing helpful skills, and implementing effective change. We celebrate progress, not perfection so you have to be an active participant in your success on this journey!
