Body doubling is completing a task in the presence of another person.
Although the additional person may not help you with the task, their presence keeps you focused, motivated and accountable.
It can also reduce feelings of overwhelm, isolation and defeat.

Focus Together is intentionally designed to promote effortless concentration. Focus Together uses evidence based techniques that helps people overcome discomfort by working in ways that sustain attention, reduce overwhelm and build momentum.
Procrastination is often mistaken for laziness or a lack of discipline. However, research shows that we do it to avoid overwhelm, boredom and frustration. As a result, we distract ourselves to alleviate negative emotions or stay busy to feel productive. Focus Together helps you reduce the task into a few steps to complete in a short time. This technique makes it easier to focus on making real progress.

As often as possible. Feel free to turn your camera off whenever needed. We keep our videos on to create an interactive virtual space. Body doubling is an effective way to remain focused, engaged and accomplished.

Very minimal because we meet to focus on completing tasks. We share goals and progress with each other to maintain accountability.

First, have an idea of a task to complete. Then, identify the first step forward. Next, book a Focus Together session to schedule time for the task. Finally, join the session from your electronic device with the goal of completing the task.

The Focus Together session fee for a group of 2-4 people is $125/hour per participant. For a private, one-on-one Focus Together session, the fee is $200/hour. All Focus Together session fees are self-pay and not covered by insurance.
